1.Rigid PVC foam products are foamed and molded with chemical foaming agents. The blowing agent and its decomposition gas are dissolved in the melt before entering extrusion die, then after passing the extrusion die, the pressure and temperature in the melt decreases, so that the gas dissolved in the melt is supersaturated and phase separation occurs to form plenty of microbubbles. The surface bubbles are fixed before they expand on the board surface due to the rapid cooling of the cooling setting mold, then a dense and smooth crust layer formed on the surface, thereby producing a crust foam board.
2.The rigid PVC crust foam board adopts a restricted foaming process. The melt is freely foamed from the clothes-hanger die, and then introduced into a cooling station with a size similar to the die, immediately forced cooling on the surface of the board to suppress the surface area of the board foaming (crust) to obtain a foamed semi-finished product with a relatively hard surface. After passing through the cooling zone, it is drawn by the traction device into the pressing roller device. In order to compensate for the subsequent cooling shrinkage of the sheet, the size of the cooling setting device is about 1% larger than the thickness of the sheet. The cooling intensity of the cooling setting die is different, and the thickness of the sheet skin is controlled to vary between 0.1 mm and 1.0 mm.
